Lili Donates to the Girl Scouts Since y'all were so generous donating to the American Cancer Society's Dog Walk fundraiser, Lili decided to pay it forward by donating to Evelyn Potter's Girl Scouts fundraiser. For her donation, Lili received a "BARK" box with a Girl Scout Badge Sash (no we couldn't get her to model it...), 2 badges (they squeak), and a can of delicious treats.

Lili is home form boot camp. She is a different dog. Like all youngsters returning from boot camp she has a tattoo of the eagle, globe and anchor on her chest. She is surrounding herself with all of her toys just to let them know that THE Lili is back and in charge. We are all happy that she is home except for Mouki, our cat. If looks could kill....

Nice Hair..... A couple of years ago when my hair returned after chemo it came back curly and looked kind of dingy. Donna decided to cheer me up by offering to dye my hair slightly blonde. In a weak moment I agreed. We dyed it in the kitchen as it had the only sink with a sprayer. Lili breaks the Marines Our puppy, Lili, has been boarded for obedience training with 2 former Marines whose job in the service was training dogs for the Marines. She is part boarder collie and everyone agrees she is very smart. She is also stubborn and head strong. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As it is coming to an end, if you haven't already done so, PLEASE GET A MAMOGRAM. DON'T BE A PEG. I went 7 years without getting a mammogram. There are no good excuses. ..work was too busy, life got in the way, it hurts, I always have to go back because my tissue is too dense, having to worry over the weekend for results, hoping for the best but thinking the worst..... All of theose excuses pale in comparison to getting a diagnosis.

Lili, best walking partner ever!! Just want to tell y'all why I am blogging. I recently did the American Cancer Society's 30 Mile Dog Walk fundraiser in Spetember.
